Running a new backup

Exchange-SQL Backup has several built-in backup
types:
- File and folder backups
- MS SQL backups 2000/2005
- Exchange 2000/2003 backups
- Others via our expandable plug-in framework
Select any backup type in the wizard and Exchange-SQL
Backup will walk you through step by step to ensure a properly setup backup
schedule. |
Selecting your media

Choose from 7 different backup types including:
- Full Backup
- Incremental Backup
- Differential Backup
- Straight File Copy

Easily select what to backup

With an advanced file tree, Exchange-SQL Backup allows
you to easily backup important data.
Specify one or more templates on
any directory to only backup the file types included in those templates.
All of the computers on your network will be listed in this file tree.

Setting up a schedule

Use Exchange-SQL Backups powerful scheduler for
any situation:
- Daily schedules
- Weekly schedules
- Monthly schedules
- At system startup
- On user login
All schedules will run even if you are not logged in,
or your computer is sleeping. Optionally enter a username and password. |
Restoring from a backup
 |
|
Use the restore file tree to restore any files or
folders that you wish.
Advanced restore options and data verification
are also available on the restore screen.
Restore back to any computer
whether it is the original computer that backed up the data, or a new computer.

Setting up notifications

Exchange-SQL Backup provides detailed reporting so that
you will always know the status of your backups.
Choose from any or all
of 5 types of reports:
- Email reports
- HTML log file reports
- Text file reports (Always on)
- XML file reports (Always on)
- Net send reports

Adding templates to your backup selection
 |
|
Templates give the end user more power to protect their
mission critical data by avoiding the clutter.
Create fully
customizable templates to ONLY backup certain file types.
One or more
templates can be specified on any directory in the file tree. For every
directory that has one or more templates assigned, you can specify to "Backup
only file types matching templates" or to "Backup all except file types
matching templates". |
